We are now looking for a passionate individual to join our F&B team as a Supervisor within the bar and restaurant team.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is dynamic, ambitious and has an eye for detail. You are an unpretentious team player who has a passion for service to exceed our guests' expectations.
As Restaurant & Bar Supervisor, you are responsible for managing our evening bar and restaurant operation daily and ensure that the team is delivering exceptional high-end guest service experiences.
The role includes building a strong relationship with other departments to ensure a flawless guest experience for all our guests from beginning to end and you will be the main liaison between our guests, waiters, bartenders and kitchen team.
Your role requires you to make sure that we are working together as a team to ensure extraordinary service delivery.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
- Supervise and assist in the service of quality food & beverage products to customers in the restaurant and bar operation.
- Ensure that the quality of the food and drinks served is always kept to the highest standard.
- Ensure guest requests are fulfilled and problems solved in a timely manner.
- Perform admin duties such as scheduling, ordering and inventory control as requested by senior management.
- Develop a structured training plan for all team members and assure product quality and service standards are always being followed.
- Optimize profitability and work towards the restaurant´s set financial results by delivering long- and short-term efficiency goals.
- Lead the team toward the set guest satisfaction goals by coaching, inspiring and motivating our associates toward guest-focused results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
- Assist in planning and executing events and promotions.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 2 years experience working in a similar position at an upscale restaurant and/or hotel where you had responsibility to lead a team.
- Ambitious and interested in working in a high-pace environment with great standards.
- Out-going personality who has an easy way communicating with and charming guests.
- Extensive knowledge of food and drinks (sommelier degree is a plus)
- Structure and good organizational skills.
- Experience with demand-driven scheduling.
- Knowledge within profitability optimization and cost control.
- Ability to work independently, pro-actively and with high professional ethics.
- You are passionate about service as well as have a genuine interest in food and beverage.
- Able to communicate verbally in Swedish and English, additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on guests' needs and expectations.
