Job offer description
As an animal health veterinarian at Växa, you work strategically and preventively with herd health management services for dairy and beef cattle in Sweden.
 
You mainly do scheduled visits that involves working with e.g. reproductive examinations, udder health and different types of control programs. Växa provide a lot of selected herd performance records that help our veterinarians with decisions and actions related to specific herd management issues. Many of our veterinarians also work with the ViLA-program that give the farmers opportunity to treat some diseases on their own if they work together with the veterinarian and have scheduled visits regarding preventive herd health.
 
You are based on one of our numerous operating sites countrywide and since we provide a wide range of advisory services for farmers you will be a part of a team of dedicated people with a diverse range of experiences in different areas. We encourage collaboration within the company, and you will have a large number of knowledgeable and experienced colleagues only a call away.
Further education and training are a natural part of the work, and we offer all our new employees a solid introduction.

Job requirements
-Veterinary degree from an EU/EEA country
-Driving license
-When you start working with us you need to have basic knowledge in Swedish and be motivated to learn Swedish on a communication level
-Good communication skills
-Personal qualities such as the ability to create relationships and to collaborate, both with customers and colleagues

Nice to have
-Former experience working as a veterinarian with cattle
-Experience working with preventive herd health management services
-Advanced training in Artificial Insemination for cattle
-Good skills in dutch
